Bill & Jilian Nershi
LIVE IN CONCERT @ BIG BASIN VINEYARDS
Saturday, April 8th @7pm
Guitarist and co-founder of The String Cheese Incident, Bill Nershi, and wife Jilian Nershi, join together as a duo of harmonies and driving acoustic guitar, immediately drawing in the listener. An inspired journey through various styles and influences, a throwback to the roots of American music, the Nershis have a relaxed way of connecting with the audience through the stories in their songs. Constantly finding ways to make the music sound complete as a duo, unique arrangements and a deep catalogue of original songs highlight the couple’s dedication to their craft.
The last time Bill and Jilian Nershi played at Big Basin Vineyards it was in owner Bradley Brown’s house on Valentines Day, just before the pandemic began, and not long before the CZU Lightening Complex wildfire ravaged much of the property and destroyed the home. This concert was professionally recorded and released as their first album titled “PartNERSHIp“. You can find it on most of the streaming services. This upcoming concert is meant to bring us full circle and back to this beautiful place so we can celebrate regrowth and rebuilding after the devastation of the fires.
From Live Album partNERSHIp (2020):
Winery will be open for wine tasting through 6pm on that day, so feel free to come by early to taste wine on the patio next to the vineyard.
Doors for the show will open at 6pm. Please follow directions on parking. The show will start at 8pm.
Big Basin Vineyards will have a wine bar open for business serving wine by the glass, bottle and beer as well. No outside alcohol is permitted.
The plan is for the show to be outdoors under the stars. If rain threatens, we have an indoor space we will use, so concert will go forward rain or shine.
