Colleen Gibson

Colleen is a California native. Born in Redwood City. She currently lives in San Juan Bautista with her husband on their “It’s a Dogs Life Ranch”.

She was originally drawn to the wine industry because it blended two of her favorite things: wine and people.

She started her career in the industry with Pietra Santa Winery in Hollister in 2013, She immediately fell in love with it, and quickly advanced from Tasting Room Associate to Tasting Room & Wine Club Manager. In 2017, see joined Dorcich Family Vineyards in Gilroy. As the DTC Sales Manger she worked closely with the family on brand development and growing this new winery through 2024.

Colleen joined Big Basin Vineyards in Fall of 2024 as our Wine Club & Tasting Room Manager. You will find her in our tasting room sharing the story behind our wine. She is looking forward to building a new relationship with you! When you come to the SCTR please make sure to say hello.
In her free time, Colleen loves quiet time at home on the farm, lazy days on the beach, wine tasting, and gardening. If she’s not at the tasting room, she is enjoying her time away and spending it with family and friends.
